Residents of Gateway Terrace have front row seats for the rennaisance of Washington St. After milions of dollars of public and private investment, Washington St. (and increasingly Harrison Ave. as well) have gone from no-man's land to destination spots. Long the industrial side of the more residential South End, the south of Washington area (SOWA) is now home to hundreds of cool lofts, artist studios, and some of the hottest restaurants in the city.
